This is a stunning estate diamond, white gold, and yellow gold wedding band or anniversary ring, with some excellent detail white and sparkling little diamonds. It could be part of your wedding set, worn as an anniversary ring, or even be a right hand right, or a stunning addition to a stacking set of rings.
The band is 18 karat yellow gold, with a 14k white gold setting featuring intricate fleur de lis, which adds elegance as well as a French sensibility to this antique diamond ring. The centre diamond is 3mm or approximately .10 carats, flanked by 2 2.5mm .05 carat diamonds, and then accented on either end with two 2mm or .03 carat diamonds, for a total carat weight of approximately .25 carats.
These diamonds are clean up to 20x magnification, and are sparkly and bright. With the white gold setting, the diamonds look larger than their measurements would indicate.
Size: The ring is currently 9.5 US but could be resized (within reason) by your local jeweller.
The setting measures approximately 16mm across, and 5mm wide, with a 2mm wide band.
Condition: This ring is in excellent vintage condition, with no scratches, marring, or other issues noted. As with all set stones, it would be a good idea to have the ring examined by your local jeweller before wearing it out.
The profile on this ring is just so lovely and detailed, it adds a layer of panache to a fairly modest ring. Ring has been paired with a solitaire from the 1920s in the last few pictures to show it as a modest estate wedding set. This listing is just for the single estate diamond band.
