This beautiful vintage diamond solitaire ring has lovely lines, Rococo styling, and a centre vintage diamond flanked by a pair of simple pink rubies. The ring shank is yellow gold, and the main diamond is framed by a palladium setting. This estate diamond ring has a main diamond that is white and eye-clean, with an approximately 15 point diamond. The two lovely pinkish red rubies are single cuts, and .025 carats, for a total gemstone weight of .20 carats.
The inside of the ring is marked as 14k gold and Palladium, as well as JF for the jeweller. The diamond is transitional, round cut diamond, and grades as approximately SI1 and G-H colour grade. In person, the diamond is sparkly and light, and creates a modest, vintage look on the hand.
I've paired it with a 1940s diamond band that is also for sale in the shop, to show how it might look as part of a wedding set. This listing is just for the solitaire - the wedding band can be purchased as part of a separate listing. This ring has a great profile, so it would also be a great addition to a set of stacking rings. I just love this ring!
Size: Measures 8.75 US on my mandrel, but it will feel bigger as the shank is thin. This ring could be resized, but would need some gold added.
Condition: The ring is in excellent vintage condition, with no issues noted. It is a lovely 1920s ring, and would make any lady with a vintage heart very happy!
