This estate sterling silver and turquoise ring likely dates to the 1960s or 1970s, with a large oval shield, inset turquoise bordered by a hand worked scallop around the edge. It is a solid and chunky ring but doesn't feel too heavy on the hand, and has a definite boho and southwestern vibe to it. I'm not certain where this ring was made, but the maker's initials are carved into the back of the ring twice: "ET". This ring is not marked but tested as solid sterling silver or 925. The band measures 5 3/4 US but with the size of the shield on top - 26mm at the tallest point, and 16mm at the widest point - this may fit smaller depending on the shape of your fingers.
If you're going to be a southwestern bride, imagine this lovely ring as you're something blue. For a larger ring, it has a fun and playful feel to it, and would be a beautiful memento for any special day.
Condition: This lovely sterling silver turquoise ring is in great vintage condition, with no marks or damage noted.
The last two pictures show the silver and turquoise ring, along with another sterling silver estate ring I have for sale. This listing is just for the turquoise and sterling silver ring.

**Offers**
On certain items, I will consider offers. Generally speaking, this is a price reduction of an average of 10% off the full list price. Not all items have a margin where I can take an offer, regardless of the spirit in which it is offered, or the admiration for the item professed.
**Shipping Information**
Shipping costs are the cost of mailing an item, along with any necessary packing/packaging materials. If shipping costs seem high, sometimes they are. When estimating for the purposes of listing an item on Etsy, I have to list the most expensive possible shipping destination in a given country. More expensive items are shipped with tracking and insurance, which adds to the cost. If the difference between my shipping estimate and actual costs are greater than $2, I will refund you the difference.
If you are thinking of purchasing an item, contact me with your postal or mailing code, and I will check the precise shipping costs. For less expensive items (under $50), I am willing to ship by cheaper options, but please be aware that this can extend shipping times by 4 to 8 weeks for international shipping to some destinations, and can eliminate the ability to track or insurance the package.
In short, not turning a profit on postage, but need to cover the costs getting lovely jewellery from me to you!
