This sweet vintage heart shaped locket features an intricate engraved scroll pattern on the front surface; in the upper right area of the heart, there is a blank space that could be engraved with someone's name. The chain and locket are in good vintage condition, with a few small exceptions: there are some z shaped scratches on the inside of the locket in the area where pictures would be inserted, a slight dent on the front left quadrant of the heart, a small dent on the left side of the locket, along with a few small impressions on the back of the locket near the maker's mark. The reverse of the locket is stamped for silver, and is decorated with a hand engraved message for the original recipient:

The interior of the locket still has the glass and seal for a picture on the right side, though it is missing on the left. The clasp and hinges are still true and the locket opens and closes easily. I have polished some of the tarnish from the locket, but have not polished it to bright silver, as the darker patina adds to the locket's vintage charm. The pictures do a good job showing the overall condition of the locket and chain, but if you have any questions, please convo me.
