This simple estate sterling silver and turquoise necklace is unsigned, but is in southwestern or First Nations style of jewelry, and is beautifully made. The approximately 7mm turquoise cabochon as two sterling 925 silver feathers hanging from it, the longer 35mm, and the shorter 25mm. Sterling silver tube beads and small tubes of turquoise decorate the strand section, and the necklaces closes with a silver barrel clasp. Beautiful and intricate detail work on the feathers in particular, and the turquoise is an even colour of aqua blue.
Length: 18" necklace length, not including turquoise cabochon or silver feathers
Condition: this Native American style sterling silver and turquoise necklace is in excellent vintage condition. Tarnish has been left as part of the patina of the piece. The barrel clasp is smooth and functional. There is some of the cording material showing around the barrel beads near the clasp, but it does not affect the aesthetics of this southwestern necklace.
