This mid century costume ring features an oval shaped orange paste stone, surrounded by a halo of clear paste stones. This ring likely dates from the 1950s or 1960s and is well loved. The gold plating has worn away, though you have a similar effect with the antique gold coloured brass metal of the setting. This estate costume ring is unusual to me for how much wore it had, and how loved it was. There were many other more valuable rings in the estate, but this was clearly the favourite!
Condition: This ring is in good vintage condition. Aside from the wear and tarnish you would expect with a previously loved item of its age, there are no major issues. The band is now mostly brass, the gold plating have worn away. The paper backing for the setting is slightly loose, and the paste stones look a little dull, likely the result of a lot of wear and hand washing.
