1940s Sterling Silver Lily Brooch and Earring set, Sterling by Jewelart WWII era jewellery set. This gorgeous weighty sterling silver set features ripe lilies opening above their curvy stems. The earrings have screw backs but can easily be converted to pieced backings. The brooch has a large central flower rising above three sinuous stem lines, with an ivy-like leaf anchoring the bottom left of the circle. This could be converted to a very elegant pendant, with a fixed chain or a bail behind the main flower.
Brooch: Just under 1 1/2" wide by just over 1 1/2" tall (so an imperfect 1 1/2" diameter)
Earrings: 1" tall, and 1" wide at the widest point, 1/2" wide at the narrowest point
The safety catch and clasp on the reverse of the brooch is in good working order, and there is no damage noticed to either the brooch or earrings. The silver is bright but has some tarnish that adds to the vintage patina. Overall, the condition is as would be expected for a vintage piece of jewellery.
This set has a great sense of dimension and really elegant lines. Wonderful vintage details give this set a strong design aesthetic and powerful impact without being overly fussy, making it perfect for a strong silent type!

**Shipping Information**
Shipping costs are the cost of mailing an item, along with any necessary packing/packaging materials. If shipping costs seem high, sometimes they are. When estimating for the purposes of listing an item on Etsy, I have to list the most expensive possible shipping destination in a given country. More expensive items are shipped with tracking and insurance, which adds to the cost. If the difference between my shipping estimate and actual costs are greater than $2, I will refund you the difference.
If you are thinking of purchasing an item, contact me with your postal or mailing code, and I will check the precise shipping costs. For less expensive items (under $50), I am willing to ship by cheaper options, but please be aware that this can extend shipping times by 4 to 8 weeks for international shipping to some destinations.
In short, not turning a profit on postage, but need to cover the costs getting lovely jewellery from me to you!
