The pattern on the side of the cup is nearly identical to the illustration on the saucer, and the lustre is still bright and reflective.
This vintage Japanese tea cup and saucer are in good vintage condition, showing just the gentle wear you expect with an item from the 1960s. No chips or cracks noted, though there is a section in the mountain range, to the left of the cup's pagoda, where the porcelain was flawed in manufacturing. It is a rough little lift that does not affect the pattern, but is present enough to mention.
