These two MCM Bavarian china dessert sets are just too awesome for words! Both the Atomic Daisy and the Atomic Dandelion sets are in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing noticed. The gold trim is consistent and even, and both sets look like new. Buy one, or both, your choice!
Atomic Daisy:
This 1950s dessert set is marked for Schumann Arzberg Bavaria, and features a shallow but wide tea cup, and rounded triangular saucer and plate. The designs are mostly gold on an ecru background, with accent colours of berry and aqua. Love the designs, especially with those triangular plates. Such a cool, modern look!
Cup: 4" in diameter
Saucer: 6" in diameter
Dessert plate: 7 1/2" in diameter
Atomic Dandelion:
This 1950s dessert or lunch set is marked for Winterling Marktleuthem Bavaria, and features a wide but shallow tea cup, with matching round saucer and dessert plate. The design is mostly in bright and antique gold, with some colour blocked sections in aqua.
Cup: 4" in diameter
Saucer: 5 3/4" in diameter
Dessert plate: 7 3/4" in diameter
Condition: excellent vintage condition. There are very few signs of wear with these previously loved vintage items!
