This vintage Capricorn brooch features a mountain goat with a pine tree just behind it. Its flanks are decorated with garnets and marcasite, and it stands atop a banner that proclaims "CAPRICORN". This solid little brooch with stamped on the reverse with 925 for sterling silver, and has a nice weight to it. This would be a lovely birthday gift for your favourite Capricorn!
Condition: the sterling silver, garnet and marcasite Capricorn brooch is in good vintage condition, showing the regular wear you would expect with a previously loved item. The I in Capricorn has a shallower impression than the other letters, and as a result, has much less tarnish than the other letters. The pin and latch on the back of the brooch is straight and functional.
