This stunning sterling silver and larimar boho statement ring was made in Mexico, most likely in the 1950s, and features one large round aqua blue larimar cabochon set in a bohemian sterling silver setting. This estate 925 ring has a lot of height, rising approximately 12mm beyond the band. This vintage silver statement ring certainly makes a statement, and is beautifully made in a traditional vintage Mexican silver style.
The central round larimar cabochon is 12mm by 12mm in the setting, and is open beneath the prongs so that the back of the stone is visible. The band is 13mm at its widest point, and narrows to 3mm. There are open sections of the ring, cutaways that accentuate the scrolls leading up to the claw setting. The inside of the ring has two markings for JS, and is stamped as being made in Mexico, and being sterling silver (925).
Condition: This ring is in overall great vintage condition. The ring is well made and comfortable to wear, and shows very little tarnish or wear, despite its age. Because of the width of the ring band, and possible shape of your hands, this ring might fit smaller than you are used to for a size 81/4. You might need to think of it as being anywhere from a 1/2 size to a full size smaller to get the right fit.

Shipping costs are the cost of mailing an item, along with any necessary packing/packaging materials. If shipping costs seem high, sometimes they are. When estimating for the purposes of listing an item on Etsy, I have to list the most expensive possible shipping destination in a given country. More expensive items are shipped with tracking and insurance, which adds to the cost. If the difference between my shipping estimate and actual costs are greater than $2, I will refund you the difference.
If you are thinking of purchasing an item, contact me with your postal or mailing code, and I will check the precise shipping costs. For less expensive items (under $50), I am willing to ship by cheaper options, but please be aware that this can extend shipping times by 4 to 8 weeks for international shipping to some destinations, and can eliminate the ability to track or insurance the package.
In short, not turning a profit on postage, but need to cover the costs getting lovely jewellery from me to you!
