This sweet heart-shaped Mother-0f-Pearl Victorian brooch would be a beautiful gift for a beloved mother or mother-in-law, or would be a classic "something old" to wear on your wedding day. It is such a great example of how beautiful MOP (Mother-of-Pearl) is when done right, with waves of slightly tinted opalesence reflecting light.
Aside from its naturally creme tone, there are also hints of blush pink, gold, and green that come through this carved heart-shaped brooch. The clasp is unmarked, but is likely brass; the clasp is still tight and functional.
